To introduce external reinforcement and show how a visible food or toy reward can increase motivation, confidence and clarity.

What you'll work towards

Handlers should be able to set up a clear external-reinforcement exercise in which the dog completes the task and waits for a release cue before accessing the reward.

What we'll cover

Using external reinforcement to build motivation and clarity through appropriate reward placement, timing, release cues and controlled access.
